Island of Ashes

In a future Philippines devastated by environmental disasters and ruled by corporate oligarchs, the islands are divided between the elite living in artificial luxury and the impoverished masses struggling for survival in the decaying Ashen Zones. Maria Lakandula, a young woman from the wastelands, discovers her ancestral ties to the original Filipino revolutionaries. Driven by the loss of her family and the growing oppression, she joins a rebel group known as The Katipunan Reborn. Together, they fight to reclaim the nation's resources from the iron grip of the multinational corporation ImperialTech. But as Maria rises in the ranks of the rebellion, she faces a difficult choice-whether to destroy the system at all costs or find a way to rebuild the shattered islands without plunging them into further chaos.
