Ruby and Abigails' parents were created by a mad alchemist turned scientist named Hermes Trismegistus, altering the wombs of two different women. Ruby and Abigail, however, were born naturally. Having a normal life was far out of reach for the twins from the beginning, but when you have a mad scientist manipulating and experimenting on you, things go from bad to worse.
Will Ruby and Abigail be able to beat Hermes? Or will their happy lives be forever altered by the series of horrendous events to come?

When twins Skylar and Jake were born, their scientist parents used them as an experiment. Too bad for Anna, because she was in for the worst not only was she trapped in her home for the better part of 18 years. But right before her 18th birthday her family which consisted of her younger sister Arabella and their parents, took a trip to the capital to visit their dying grandmother before she passed. On there way there they were accompanied by a quite handsome and charming vampire, named Corbyn whom Anna finds herself finds herself adoring. On their week long travel many surprises happen and Anna finds herself falling pretty hard for Corbyn while slowly figuring out the twisted reasons for their sudden journey to the capital. Six high school students looks like anyone else acts like anyone else but are capable of things no one else is. They learnt from a young age no one that means NO ONE can know about their powers even their parents and other siblings. It brings out the true friends and those who just want to use you. In the end, what do you do when your closest friend betrays you? This is the story as they try to keep their biggest darkest secret of what they are capable of and as they discover they're not the only ones like them... I am not very good at trigger warnings before individual chapters but there is mention of blood, cold abuse and parents divorcing. (But read at your own risk in case I mention something else.
