He would be a second year by the time she crossed the Parapet, and she would make it her mission to find Xaden and become his ally at Basgiath War College. She would give her life for his, as for he had done far more for her than she deserved. She would become as loyal to him as a dog to its owner. This book is a fan fiction of Rebecca Yarros' Empyrean series. It takes place one year before fourth wing, I plan to make books that follow the series. So there should be five more after this one, six in total. All characters and storyline belong to RY, besides Skyla Whitlock and some added characters that I made up due to when and where this book takes place.
