Audrey and Aiden were inseparable from kindergarten to the beginning of their freshman year in high school. Over the summer, Aiden gained a six pack and was suddenly the it-boy at school. After his sudden popularity Aiden started hanging out with poor Audrey less and less. The only means of contact they held were through their brief phone conversations, quick hellos in the school hallways, and emails to one another.
