She grabbed a shard and slit her wrists, letting the darkness consume her. Present: Murtasim cradled Meerab's limp body, tears streaming down his face. "Forgive me, Meerab. I'm so sorry...I love you," he whispered, his voice shaking. Maa Begum's taunts echoed in his mind, but he couldn't face her or himself. Murtasim's world crumbled as he realized the extent of his destruction. He vowed to make amends, to save Meerab and their relationship. But would it be too late? Murtasim's desperate plea for forgiveness, as Meerab's life hangs in the balance. Will Meerab survive? Can Murtasim redeem himself? This story is based on the original MR track What happens when after the fateful night a shattered and broken Meerab instead of running away decides to end her suffering once and for all?
