Having heard her father and Dr O'Neil on that faithful night Safira raced into the labs in search of her pets, as she went out she saw April following out after her, carrying Splinter. As she looked back upon the labs, she saw her whole life set aflame; she never truly knew her father, the only reason why they were close was because she took care of the brothers for him and for her uses. Splinter was April's, he and the borthers was the reason why she became really close to the O'Neils, they felt like family. But after that night she couldn't look at any of them, handed the brothers to her friend, her heart darkens with guilt. Her father did this, he killed Dr O'Neil, he destroyed her life.
To continue the only legacy Dr O'Neil had left she decided to go against her father and maybe one day put a stop to him for good.
