Ever wonder what it would be like in the New York Institute? How about being a spy in the Institute? Brynn experienced her parents death at a young age and taken in by a complete stranger (whom says he know her mother). She begins to train and become a shadow hunter like her parents, but under the impression of the shady stranger who wants to take down the shadow hunter race, and with the help of some old and new friends, she questions the very reason she does it. Soon she will find out of the secrets she has been secluded from and start to realize what's good and evil is in her eyes.
