Five Foes, A Murder & Lies
Margo Watson was found murdered in her own home on October 13th. Leaving the town of Scattervale, with the solving of it's first murder mystery, in 30 years. Her body was found in her bathroom tub with evidence of a homicide, that led to her death. Once the autopsy came back with fingerprints from her friends, covered on her corpse, the mystery unravels. As each side of the story gets told from different perspectives. Only which side is the truth? And which is a lie? But that's not all, Margo's soul could not rest until she could remember who killed her. Forcing her to haunt her five friends who brought pain upon her, mentally and physically. In several different ways, since she moved here. Only to find out the truth, about what happened to her, that gruesome night. With her memories in shambles and even questioning her friendships. Margo wanted nothing more, than to get to the bottom of her own murder mystery, so she could move on & find peace. But when her foes as friends argue to be framed for the murder and not actual suspects. Things start to get bloody, as the town of Scattervale, point fingers, pick sides, and bid on the killer. So which one of her five foes did murder her in cold blood? And will anyone ever know the truth? There's only one way to find out.... Journey For Kuuno
A short story prompt for a writing club I'm in I had a month to write it and a 12.5k word limit! It deserves to be longer so I probably should have done something that works well with the limit, but I had a really fun time writing out a concept start for this larger story I'm working on :) Again, this is a concept story! it has it's flaws, I look forward to rewriting it sometime in the future :) The story will explain things somewhat as you read through, but if you would like, here is a setting synopsis: At the end of the 21st century humanity fell to a incurable blight, the Blood Curse, and civilization as it was known collapsed with it. It was only through the biological properties of vampires, whom have existed as long as humans, that humanity could safely stave off the curse. One thousand years later, humanity and vampires have grown together through this mutual need, human's needing their curses to be sated, Vampires needing human blood for sustenance. A once tumultuous relationship of predator and prey now was one of equal standing and reverence. Not all human's have taken kindly to this new order of things however, and societies do exist that reject vampires and dangerously brave the curse on their own. In recent years these human's have become more brave and more daring, and in an ambush on Wyatt's village, Karva the town vampire has been injured and cannot satiate the curse for a time, right when a young child, Kuuno, is in dire need of it. Wyatt, a fledgling vampire yet to conquer their thirst for blood, Yeshen a doctor's apprentice, and Kuuno, the young child, venture out into the woods set for the nearest village and it's vampire to save the young boy. In this thick forest and uncertain times, what will they discover, and will they make it to their destination safely?Completa
The Grey's Curse
What would you do if there was a Monster that one day popped up in your life? uninvited and seemed to know exactly where you were at all times? What if it almost ended your life? And most importantly Will she survive? _____________________________________________ In this gruesome horror story the events take place in modern day West Virginia which is where you will meet Maria Nichole Grey: a young and lonely fifteen year old girl that is still grieving the death of her father who died in a car accident seven years ago, leaving her with her aloof mother who was almost never home to witness the strange and dangerous happenings that keep Maria in constant danger. Maria wasn't sure why or how the entity haunted her; she never played with a ouija bound and she never chanted Bloody Mary in her bathroom but on this particular day, when she was home alone, a huge terrifying Monster pounced on her from her closet and attacked her in her own room, the Monster itself was a huge, horrifying, sinister entity with startling glowing yellow eyes that seemed to stare into her soul. The Monster seems to only be interested in Maria and targets her specifically, She has no clue as to why it's haunting her, no, hunting her, but she's determined to find out and put a stop to it before it can send the grim reaper her way. After Rexx discovers her acquaintance with Gabriel, he demands that she spies on him to get information about his family and business. Reluctantly she wants to say no, but she has no choice. If she fights it, she'll get hurt-or worse. As Poppy becomes closer to Gabriel, she doesn't expect to fall for him. And little does he know, she's been lying to him this whole time. There is only one thing Gabriel absolutely despises and that is heartless backstabbers.
