In 2995, most of the earth's terrain is uninhabitable due to effects of mass war. Laws have made it possible to enlist at the age of fourteen, as well as be drafted, if necessary. Though, surrounding these laws are exceptions; such as Apple Ofnone, a Mexican orphan who's been enlisted in the Japanese army since seven years old.

With ESP abilities, the boiling pot city that has become Tokyo, and a new rebellion cracking out over the countries that remain, the worries never seem to end.

Toru Yamada wants one thing. To prove he can be among the strongest without the use of his family's eye abilities. When he's thrown on Apple's underdog team, all he wants is to learn.
