Otterway Grove was a place nearly devoid of life. On a lucky day, the only fish you might find would already be dead, their bodies tangled with plastic.

If you were after something a bit more tender, your best chance was a frail-boned 19-year-old, who had spent years of his life cleaning the ocean.

It's not a choice; they come into the water, but they don't come back. It's that simple.

Nyxei had spent her whole life here, surviving on whatever drifted by, enduring hunger on the nights when the ocean gave nothing.

You might ask, why doesn't she leave, seek bigger prey, larger fish?

Because it's home. And, home is the hardest place to RUN from.
