The first chapter of Rot and Rise, Frost and Fire, welcomes readers into a new world. A world similar to our own back in the medieval ages. This world hosts many wonders and many legends. This chapter introduces us to the protagonist, Alexei Northstar, his family, and his city of Hillcrest. However, this is just a beginning. Hillcrest is just a small city in the Tsardom of Roskovia. Oh, and there's a pandemic of a Plague going around. Immerse yourself in this world, and you will be greeted by triumph.
