That is the phrase Deductive Logico heard his entire life. Even more so than "stranger danger" or "brush your teeth." And sure, wandering alone unsupervised is not the best idea, but the reasoning everyone gave him?
Ghosts.
He never believed in ghosts, or anything supernatural for that matter. You live, you die, you decompose, and that is it. As someone who has been solving murders for the past year or so, it was a hard truth he had to face. Sure, this put him at odds with his rival: the esoteric Inspector Irratino, but nothing could convince him otherwise.
So... what happens when things stop adding up? What happens when twenty years' worth of secrets start to unravel? What happens when nobody can see what he's experienced?
Logico finds himself with information he should have no way of knowing, and even the basics of the world he lives in are thrown into question.
Irratino has one last case for the deductive to solve...
Can he do it?

11/12/1952 Alright...so, today has been...uh...interesting to say the least. I was wandering around, fulfilling my usual quota of jack shit, I, like the sane lady I am, wandered into a back alley in a ghetto town full of thugs and known gang members, like the sane lady I am. Now usually this would just fine, despite the risk. Reason being, nothing usually happens in that part of town, its like a hallowed place, no evil, no death, no sin normally to speak of.....not today. Today, I was cornered. I was held at knife point in a back alley, fun right? Well.....for me it was. In fact, it was quite entertaining to watch that insufferable wretch choke on his own blood after I slit his throat with my beautiful blades, they're quite intricate. They have a dark wood grip with gold placement pins, stainless steel blade, and black steel rose pattern inlays on the flat of the blade....that little wretch should feel honored to meet the end of my blade! Although....I didn't really get to have my fun at first. He had the gall to grab me and attempt to cut me! He ruined my beautiful black suit! HE EVEN GRABBED MY HAIR! Calling it, "Interesting, unnatural, because of the black base with white ends." LIKE I DON'T KNOW ITS UNNATURAL! Either way, after that small misadventure I annihilated him thoroughly. Meet Kyle and Kate, two 15 year old students who have a gift for thinking fast, quick, and smart. Oh, and meet the other 18 kids in their class. Some call them genius, some call them annoying. PART 1 The year starts off bad enough, that is, with earthquakes and snowstorms. And finally, when things starts to clear up, the first murder occurs. Right in front of their eyes. It seemed obvious who did it, but as the murderer wrote her confession, a completely different murder occurs across town. Shocked, the police rush over to gather the evidence and clues, but before they even assemble their evidence, the police are led to another death. One by one, deaths occur around town, faster than the police can count. There's not much in common with all of the murders, only the fact that all of the victims come from one class. In the course on one year, the class of 18 shrinks drastically. PART 2 As summer vacation begins, the remains of the class split. Five students tell their stories of meeting new people, near death experiences, and funny incidences. PART 3 More than what meets the eye happened in the course of the summer. The class comes back to a new year, utterly shocked to find that 4 new students have joined their class. Everything starts out alright, but people are getting frantic. The government sent in spies to watch the class for suspicious behavior, two of them students themselves. Two other students are hired to try to figure things out on their own. What nobody realizes however, is what's important. As the year goes on, some of the students realize: -A secret passageway may not be limited to only the house. -The school has a basement -Falling down a flight of stairs can save lives A supposedly dead student wakes up from a coma, people start realizing things, all leading to the final, seemingly unimportant clue, that closed the gap from arresting the wrong person, to finding the real murderer.Complete
