In "The Sailor's Widow", a man named Jack discovers that his wife, Claire, is behind the mysterious disappearances of sailors in their coastal town. She reveals that the sea demands blood sacrifices, and she has been luring and killing the sailors to satisfy it. When Jack confronts her, Claire confesses that now that he knows the truth, he too must become a sacrifice. Desperate, Jack tries to escape, but Claire sacrifices herself to the sea in a last attempt to save him. In the end, Jack realizes the sea's pull is still there, and it may never truly let him go.
