After her grandmother's passing, Ember stumbles upon a forgotten box of unsent love letters hidden in the attic of her family's crumbling estate. Each letter, filled with words of devotion, was written by a mysterious man named William, a person her grandmother never spoke of. Struck by curiosity and a need to know the story behind these letters, Ember pens a reply to William's last known address-only to receive a letter back from Karsyn, William's grandson, who is just as intrigued by this long-lost connection.

Through their letters, Ember and Karsyn uncover a love story shrouded in mystery, one that binds their families together in unexpected ways. As they continue writing, they reveal more about their own lives, finding solace and understanding in one another. But when the truth about their grandparents' relationship emerges, it threatens to tear them apart before they even have a chance to meet.

With hearts heavy from the past and uncertain of the future, Ember and Karsyn must decide whether to let history define them-or risk everything for a love they've only known through ink and ash.
