Aki has always hated fiends and devils. How could he not, after what happened to him? What he had to experience? They were dirty, selfish, downright inhumane, and in his opinion, they didn't deserve to live. If he could, he'd murder them all in an instant. 

So, why the hell did his heart beat so loud whenever he saw her? Someone who was so heavenly, pure, and innocent - despite being a part of the very kind he despised.
