Kate Stephens is a nineteen year old young woman, who after finding herself completely alone for the first time in her life; meets an older distinguished man. In the process of selling her grandfather's classic car, she has an encounter with an alluring stranger whose artistic flair for life enchants her, giving her otherwise droll and unfocused life what she has desperately craved; a purpose.
