This story follows the life of 22 year old Alana Graves. As she is unwillingly forced to attend Winchester  battle collage. She is the first female to ever attend  the college, since females are not known to be dominant. 
Charged with attending the college, and discovering her powers.
She is forced to attend after a series of unfortunate events that resulted in the government finding out about her past, and her uncommon career as the assassin known as "The  Shadow". 
As she struggles to overcome great loss, and begins to uncover more secrets of her past, she begins to form unlikely bonds in her fellow fighters
