Leo Valdez was a normal 23 year old student majoring in Engineering when his landlord decided he needed to pay up the rent for the year and boy, he's broke.
Just a few days after he put up an advertisement for a roommate Jason Grace appeared.

24 year old Jason Grace's family was filthy rich. But he wanted to earn for himself and he saw this cute guy and was like ''Hey why not?'' and he certainly didn't regret moving in after tasting the food.

They don't get along at first, but after the sudden apocalypse they are forced to bond

What if that bond is something deeper and stronger than they ever imagined?
