In this story it tells about the heartbreak of devorce and the trageties of having a broken family and what that means. I am a young girl in the beginning just trying to help my dad navigate his own hearbreak and fight through a battle of custody. It goes on throughout the years of teenage life dealing with sexual assault from a family member then as a young adult experiencing a brutal rape. Therapy and a wonderful strong support system got me through it as I experience a hospital stay in my 30's to help with the trauma. My life goes from spiralling out of control to finding peace and happiness while putting all the trauma behind me.
