However, the princess is far from ready, and the prince isn't all that he seems. - Lyra Veil is the youngest of three, and had never cared to seek out adventure and danger, nor risk her father's crown- content only in dreaming the days away. Thus, marrying the prince from the eastern kingdom was something she had taken as less than a foregone conclusion: something like a death sentence. Her life up until that point was mostly dull and devoid of danger. What awaited for Lyra on the eastern shore however, was not.
