Ever since the ambush, Scarlet's mind is filled with countless thoughts about the werewolves, alongside guilt that grew from Freddy's expulsion.

One day, Scarlet's parents bring home a weird, glowing rock, and some time after touching it, Scarlet begins experiencing strange dreams.

One night, the most unexpected thing happened to her. Under the moonlight, she transforms into not a wolf or a dog, but a cat.

As days go on, Scarlet tries to process what's been happening to her, and whether or not she should reach out to Freddy again. When she not only helps Freddy back into Howlington, but stops Ric Rawls, the leader of the Wilderwolves, she begins to realize a spark of hope.

Maybe this new lifestyle of hers won't be so bad.
