For Luke

Ellington is an island where rich people spend their summer. But not everyone spends only the summer there, some people live there. On June 29th, 2016, 16 year old New Yorker, Luke Martin is killed in a car accident, everyone on the island knows that it wasn't an accident. The therapist on the island asks the four Girls Luke was closest to to meet once a week. The four suspects are:

16 year old Catherine, Luke's best friend who feels like she constantly has to act like a genius to stay on the scholarship program at their prestigious New York high school.

17 year old Skailer, Luke's cousin who's mom left her and her two special needs sisters right before Skailer started school.

16 Hayley, Luke's twin sister who couldn't be more different from her brother personality wise.

And 19 year old Taylor, a year rounder who wears her title of 'emo girl' with pride, but she has a secret and Luke's the only 'summerer' who knows. Her secret could be her alibi, though. Will she tell her secret to these three strangers who she'll probably never see again to save herself from getting sent to jail?
