After defeating the mighty Feldway and Ivarage, the Great Demon Lord Rimuru Tempest grows bored with the peace that has settled over his world. Seeking new excitement, Rimuru travels to another dimension-Orario, a world filled with gods, adventurers, and epic quests. Arriving in a small village outside Orario, Rimuru is mistaken for a goddess due to her divine aura and decides to play along for fun.

Adopting the guise of "Luminis, the Goddess of New Beginnings," Rimuru encounters a young boy named Elias, who dreams of becoming an adventurer. Intrigued by his determination, Rimuru offers him a place in her newly-formed Familia. With the help of Ciel, Rimuru grants Elias a special blessing far beyond the ordinary, allowing him to grow at an incredible pace.

As the Familia of Luminis begins to make waves, Rimuru looks forward to the thrilling new challenges ahead, using her immense power to shake up this new world of gods and adventurers. The story blends the fun of Rimuru's mischievous side with the adventure-driven world of Danmachi, where the rules of both realms collide in unexpected ways.
