This is the tale of a man who has yet to realize his destiny...Some would call him an Oni wearing the guise of a man but thats neither here nor there. A place of grim poverty and yet with places teeming with parties, Lies hidden underneath niceties, and outcomes that no one could even imagine from a man who has lost himself. Following the Journey of this rouge samurai, slothful in nature and cocky in attitude, who has a city to liberate from its oppressors, teaming up with a Mafia and its residents, in this land made entirely of metal.

(edit) I forgot to add that this started out as a confessional journal about becoming clean after a 10 year + addiction to OTC cold meds, but that was not my style of writing, I liked the material so I wanted to expand it into a novel length work featuring the journal elements. To say this work is a roller coaster would put it lightly. Although there are elements of time travel I would consider my sudden transitions reality travel. I use actual experience and dreams as a foundation, then toss in some fourth wall breaking narratives (meta-fiction), with a sprinkling of facts and quotations from songs and factual articles. It tends to be written similarly to an essay sans the boring. I have been influenced strongly by Vonnegut and W. S. Burroughs , and a wide variety of album rock, and that bleeds through. The tags dystopian and dark humor describe the whole piece best but there is a lot of genre jumping. I've done a good deal of research, not just for factual things but for the type of writing I do. Although not technically fan fiction, there is a nod to Final Fantasy games. The cover photo is a shared copyright, Brian Barbour took the photo, I added treatments.
