I've been through my own struggle, whether it was created in my head by way of prolonged sadness or bitterness/resentment, or if I was struggling with things I had no control over like failed friendships, a broken heart, or family drama. Hey guys, this is my first try. This book is a collection of poems. It's a piece of me, a quiet mix of thoughts, memories, and small truths about family. It's not perfect. It's not all happy, either. But it's real. ----- These poems talk about distance, growing up, silence, and the little things that stay with us even when we try to move on. Some of it might feel heavy, some might feel calm, just like family does sometimes.
