Tai'lei Bell isn't your typical college student, she enjoys her classes , loves lectures, and would rather spend her nights studying and watching true crime podcasts than she out partying with the rest of her peers. Truth be told she's a wallflower that everybody knew due to her wallflowerness. Although every now and then when her best friends who just so happened to be her roommates gave her a little bit of liquid courage , she'd entertain the idea of going to a party.

Nahmir Jasai King that name alone spoke fear into everybody. Uttering that name in a room full of death row inmates would have the group shaking in fear, wishing that they hadn't heard it. And to make matters worse whatever he wanted he always made sure he got, and it didn't matter how long his attention was focused on it. However when he encounters a cowering Tai'lei one fateful night during a shootout everything he ever thought of becoming didn't even matter.
