Long ago, RainWings were assassins, killers for hire. They were the terror of Pyyhria, and every important dragon was terrified that one day, they would wake up with magical death spit on their face. But one day, this all ground to a halt. Queen Jacaranda of the RainWings stopped the assassin training plan, telling the army to instead make hammocks and nap. The RainWings' power was eventually forgotten, and here we follow the original leader of the assassins, the greatest of them all, Nightshade. But before she knew it, old friend of Queen Blizzard's past is back to kill her, half the dragon tribes are on the brink of war with the rest of Pyrrhia and... The Talons of Power are back and they will show the world no mercy. I do not own Wings of Fire or the series, this is merely a fanfiction of an idea I've had for a long time. This story is based off the ending of book 10 and ignores the ending of the epilogue and anything after it. His mother fell ill and passed away when he was a dragonet, and his father, a royal SeaWing, was executed by his dictatorial queen as soon as it was found out that he'd had an affair with a common SkyWing. Still, Shrike remains tethered to the Queen and his tribe. WoF Fanfiction - discontinued and really bad Hybrid was, well, a hybrid. She used to have a good life, kept hidden from the public. She didn't know what type of dragon she was and had no friends, but that didn't matter. She had her icewing dad, who took her out hunting and loved her enough to make up for everything else twofold. She thought that her difference wasn't necessarily bad. That all changed one day. Hybrid and her father were out, close to where they usually went hunting, and were celebrating her third birthday by going whaling. They were spotted. Another icewing took down her father, killing him for harboring a hybrid. Hybrid was dumped in the desert outside of the wall, where she was found by a sandwing. The sandwing drug her out to die in the dunes. She survived. Barely. After being stabbed by the sandwing's tail barb, she thought she was done for. The last thing that she remembered was her front talons feeling way too cold, especially in contrast to her sunburnt body. Then, black. When she woke up, she was even more different. A/N: I apologize, because, looking back, I kind of lost any inspiration for the first idea, can't mesh it with the idea I tried to throw in, and it would not make sense to ignore either of them....... So yeah this is discontinued, it's really a bad story. I may revamp it into a situation that makes more sense some time in the near future, though. Also, I do not claim ownership of WoF, the amazing book series belongs to Tui T. Sutherland. I only claim ownership of my OCs and the Storyline, this is a fanfiction.
