The Depth of Cassian

Cassian isn't interested in anything but rising to the top of the Dark Lord's Army. He thirsts for power and blood and after everything he's suffered- he's more than due.

For now though, he must stay put in and rule over the outpost fortress of the Dark Lord at Blackburn- in the once humble but happy village now placed under his merciless grip.

Cassian will endure his small army of lesser, and so often disappointing death eaters that have since been placed under his control. He'll turn the distracted children into an army. The Dark Lord's Army.

But when Cassian is summoned to clean up the careless murder of a beloved member of the muggle townsfolk by one of his own death-eaters, he finds himself confronted with the younger sister of the victim and can't seem to think or breathe when he sees the tiny, enchanting, and strong-willed Jazereal Henderson. Instead of carrying out his duty as planned, Cassian disapparates in a state of shock and confusion. Something about this muggle woman was different enough to give him pause when no witch had ever been enough to turn his head for more than a few hours... and never in this way.
