Alice has somehow gotten her parents convinced that she's gone crazy, past the point of return.
Her parents, being the overprotective and generally over the top people they are, thought that it'd be best for 17 yr old Alice Young, to go to a mental asylum.
Not just counselling or online help, no, they sent her to a mental asylum.
Alice doesn't know what she's done wrong, but she'll find out soon.
Alice has been stuck in a daydream for so long now, stuck in wonderland. She wants to learn to leave wonderland, to find the truth, but by leaving her daydream, she'll just be entering a new nightmare.
