Veloria is a realm divided into four elemental Kingdoms: Water, Wind, Terra, and Fire. Each Kingdom's people are deeply connected to their element, bearing unique powers drawn from the ancient forces that shape their world. Some wield their elemental gifts with more strength than others, marking them as both powerful and dangerous.

Forbidden by an unbreakable law, unions between the Kingdoms are punishable by death. Should a child be born with the powers of more than one court, the delicate balance of power is threatened. This ancient decree, set by the rulers of all four courts centuries ago, is upheld with ruthless precision-any child of mixed court blood is executed before their strength can grow.

But now, the King of Fire seeks to ignite the world in his fury. With his deadly and forbidden plan, he seeks to claim Veloria for his own, threatening to consume the traditions and freedom of the other elemental kingdoms. To stand against him, the courts send their strongest-those born of perfect lineage, trained from birth to embody their element's purest form. Known as "purebloods", their mission is to stop the King of Fire before his flame engulfs all.

Yet lurking in the shadows is the Fire King's most feared assassin, determined to ensure that no one stands in the way of his master's reign.
