Dealing with the supernatural was one of the least important things you've ever had to dealt with in your life. You grew up just fine with a nice family, friends, hobbies, loving relationships... until the day you graduate from college. Your three year relationship ends abruptly, your (parental figure) falls into a coma, and you've fallen into a deep depression all within a month or two.
