Three Kingdoms of the Fae. A pair of dark, bloody Games. And several Elemental Factions who must participate for a chance at glory.

The Fae Games come about once every fifty years, and in a few days, they will arrive. Each of the Elemental Factions needs to provide at least one member to join the Games. Because of that, most of the time, it is random who gets picked. Yes, certain fae are groomed to become warriors within the Games. But most going in have nothing that could help them besides their innate abilities of their designated Faction.

But this time, when the Games are created, it falls on a special day for all fae, making it a far more important Games than anything ever, maybe even more so than the first ones. The Games offer fame, glory, power, money, and food to the champion and their Faction. But those who fail? Well, perhaps that is better to be left for those within the Games themselves to discover on their own.

It will be bloody. It will be terrifying and trying. But no matter what, the fae who participate will all go into the Battlefield with the single purpose of winning.

In the fae realms, power is everything. It determines who you are, how high you rise, and how far you fall. For centuries, the Light Fae have ruled the Crescent Kingdom, their golden Queen standing as a beacon of strength and unity. Born with the promise of power that never came, Ciara has spent her life surrounded by whispers. Whispers that she's unworthy, that she's a fraud. For decades, her council has kept her from asking questions, masking their control as protection while stifling her every attempt to lead. Her crown may gleam, but it's nothing more than a cage. When a shadow creeps across the border of her realm, threatening her people with war, Ciara knows she must act. But an alliance with the Dark Fae-creatures of shadow and chaos-is unthinkable to her council. To them, the Dark Fae are the enemy. To Ciara, they may be her salvation. Caught between two realms, Ciara finds herself drawn to the enigmatic Dark Fae and their cunning and unpredictable ways. They offer her freedom, power, and a chance to reclaim her destiny. But in a world of shifting loyalties and dangerous bargains, nothing comes without a price. As secrets unravel and tensions mount, Ciara must navigate a treacherous path where every choice could mean betrayal. Her council has made their position clear: they will do anything to keep her under their control, even if it means stripping her of her title.

Twelve-hundred years ago, the first king of Sacreon led a rebellion against an empire of witches. The war for who would rule next continues to this day. A false guise of peace came over Ert after two genocides, but there is no one so foolish as to claim the fighting is done. A prophecy claims that war will return to Ert when the moons are full once again on Ascenday. That day is growing closer now, and there is not a fool in the warring nations who does not dread its coming. In the midst of this all, the heirs to Sacreon struggle to find their place in this world of kings and knights and gods and elves and witches. A princess falls for someone she cannot hope to have, prince travels south to broker an alliance, a warrior seeks vengeance for the death of her sister. and the heir to a long forgotten kingdom quests for glory. Behind all of this, one man journeys north to an island of long forgotten magic with plans of justice, and The Wolf Witch goes west, searching for the one who can stop this war and unite Ert once again: The Silver Girl. Note: The Wolf Witch is meant to be a prequel to this book, and Sora will make an appearance, but she will not be a main character. By the way I take huge inspiration and influence from A Song of Ice and Fire/Game of Thrones so if you like that you'll probably like this (and my other writings I hope). Cover created by the most excellent @apprehensiveanne. It's very cool.
