Unable to stop the Fourth Realm from invading her home, Rowan must go to war. Using her dream-walking abilities to take over the bodies of enemy soldiers, Rowan fights on the front lines, giving everything she has to keep her realm safe.

Season 2 of The Skin Thief

***

Two worlds slowly collide, and an unexpected enemy rises.

War has arrived in the Second Realm, threatening to destroy Rowan's home. With her Dream-Walking abilities, Rowan is ordered to fight deep in enemy-occupied territory, taking over the bodies of enemy soldiers in deadly battles. To make matters worse, Marcus, the man she betrayed, survived her killing blow and he is hunting her down, dead set on revenge.

In the Fifth Realm, the timid, naive priestess is gone. Kiora has risen from her slumber and hatched her dragon, Beira. With a dragon by her side, Kiora wields power and new alliances are made, especially when a new wife joins the harem - a fierce woman of fire who warms Kiora's cold, broken heart. Despite her newfound power, Kiora and Beira are not invulnerable. Schemes threaten to destroy her and her beloved dragon, but this time, Kiora will not take it lightly.

She will have her revenge against those who wronged her.

She will be their empress.

Even if she has to bury this realm in ice to do it.

Aurora opens her eyes only to feel the agonising pain in her body. That is to be expected when there has been an accident. It's excruciatingly painful. Aurora groans in pain and pulls off the blanket, taking in her surroundings. It is more appropriate for a hospital interior design to look to the mediaeval era. Not shabby, but more on the extravagant side. The nurses' attire, on the other hand, appears odd. Someone said out of nowhere, "Her Grace, please wake up! Call the doctor right away!" Aurora approaches the mirror and looks at the woman with deep red eyes in it. The woman had blonde hair that, while a little messy, flowed perfectly over her shoulder. Her fair complexion lends her an ethereal appearance. Not to mention that her outfits make her look like a noblewoman from a historical series. She pinches herself, only to realise that the blonde woman staring at her is herself. A thought struck her mind, as she utters her first statement in this world, "Fuck me". Medea has finished her work, but she is still unsure how to fix all of the messes. She hasn't been herself in a long time, and it's bothering her. The throne seems so far away, and the weight of the burden grows heavier with each passing day. A letter from the Imperial Palace has arrived, instructing the Duchess to look after the House of Smith's Duchess of Light, Natalie Wilson Smith. As an evil scheme was about to unfold, she smiled wickedly. 'This is my new card.' p/s: I can't find the original owner of the photo of the cover, if you know or you are the owner of the cover. [2024 Amby Awards winner] For as long as he can remember, Caldor has been forced to live a life of crime. With a group of his fellow thieves, they've stolen from practically all of the wealthier citizens of Redreach over the years. They have a system of how to go about their business, and it works. Until one day when it doesn't. Captured by guards and dragged off into the dungeons, Cal expects to be executed. What other fate could await a lifelong thief? But instead he is given an offer: his life will be spared if he steals a specific book. The catch? The owner of said book is a dragon. Caldor ends up accepting, having little choice, but he doesn't believe he will succeed. What Cal assumes will be his death turns out very differently, however, when he actually meets the dragon-a surprisingly human-looking and handsome creature called Idriseth-and very quickly becomes enamored with him. Cal may have come to steal the dragon's book, but now he wants to steal his heart. But will the always guarded Idriseth let him? Can a dragon even love a human? --------------------------- [word count: ≈ 40 000 words] ★ Featured on @Romance ★ • Book 1 - The Thief's Dragon • Book 2 - The Thief's Mate • Book 3 - The Thief's Choice • Book 4 - The Thief's Bargain • Book 5 - The Thief's Half-Dragon • Book 6 - The Thief's Lovers
