What if? I’d like you to take a moment and imagine a world where being homosexual was considered normal in society, where heterosexuality was frowned upon. If you were heterosexual you would be bullied and abused everyday if people knew. Being judged for the gender you prefer emotionally and/or sexually, knowing that if it was of the opposite sex, not only would you be ridiculed, but also threatened to be killed on a regular basis. Imagine a world full of hate and anger toward you and the one you love. A world where you would never fit in anywhere just because you thought the opposite sex was attractive, a world where you were deemed for hell being heterosexual. In this society you are one in however many people who had this preference. Think about it. How would the world be different? How would you learn to fit in? For Ashley this experience is very much true. Here is her story. (Based on the YouTube short film-Imagine A World Where Being "Gay" The Norm & Being "Straight" Would Be The Minority!)
