In a world ravaged by time, the legendary Coin of Truth offers an answer to any question for those brave enough to claim it. For Kalen, it's the only hope of uncovering the mystery behind his family's disappearance. But the coin is guarded by an ancient goddess, and to earn it, Kalen and his companions must survive the deadly challenges of the Wastelands.

Alongside Lyra, a fierce fighter with a troubled past, and Milo, a charming conman with his own secrets, Kalen embarks on a journey through a world of forgotten ruins and lurking dangers. As they face ancient creatures and unravel the mysteries of the Wastelands, the truth they seek may come at a price none of them are prepared to pay.

The Wastelands whisper with more than just the echoes of the past-betrayal, love, and sacrifice await those who dare to seek the truth.

Champions of Light: Gaëtano's Sword [Book One] by Natbug4545
20 parts Complete Mature
AVAILABLE ON AMAZON & KINDLE On the planet Keodis, upon the western continent, Uestron, inside the Raesifiin Empire, in the small naval city of Cyripo, the story begins when thirteen diverse strangers answer a strange pamphlet to a quest. The quest is to find a powerful gem in the Deep Forest, and then to use what powers it bestowed on them to delve into the Mountain Barrier. There, they will have to find the Light to dispel the growing Darkness within. Though this qest is honorable and righteous, the dangers that await them are exponentially worse than they could ever imagine. Whether they can save the world depends on whether they can survive themselves. Mature rating for blood, gore and depictions of violence. TW: mentions of drunkards and beer, mention of physical abuses, a description of trypophobia, claustrophobia, and other phobias, and descriptions of nasty cryptids. There is no depictions or allusions of sex, no f-bombs, or drug abuse. This story was started when I was in seventh grade. I finished the original when I was a senior in high school. Displeased with the finished product, I began to rewrite it here, starting June 2015, then again in 2020. I am quite satisfied with the result, and am sure this will be the final edition. This isn't the first book of the series, but there's no spoilers for 'The World is Larger than it Seems', so you can start on this one. The story is far from finished, however, and I hope to eventually finish the series.
