"Knighted you shall be, Anakin Skywalker," Yoda said, his voice trying to be calm and wise, but it only grated on Anakin's nerves. "A general, the Republic needs. Lead a battalion of clones, you will."

Anakin stared at Yoda, then at the other Masters. His gaze fell on Obi-Wan, who sat in his new seat, looking all calm and collected, as if nothing about this situation was strange or wrong. The Council, the Republic, the clones, the war-it was all barreling ahead like a speeder with no brakes, and no one seemed to think that maybe, just maybe, they were heading straight for disaster.

The silence stretched, the air thick with tension. The Council waited for his response. They expected him to jump at the chance-become a Jedi Knight, a general, lead troops into battle. Save the Republic. Once upon a time, he would have jumped at the chance of being the hero.

But now, is not then.

"Yeah, no," Anakin said finally, leaning back in his chair like he was bored out of his mind.

The hall was empty and dark, a mist laying over the ground like a veil. The temple felt like a beating heart of something maleficent and fierce, swallowing everything it could touch whole. She could feel his hatred growing stronger with each step she took. It was a weight that pressed down on her, forcing the air from her lungs and making it hard to breathe. She was drowning in his fury, feeling herself slip away from reality with each passing second. That was what it was. Pure madness, echoing through the halls and intensifying a hundredfold each moment. Feet stopped dead in their tracks, eyes closed and focussing on the force. Through it she felt his eyes, his dark, maleficent eyes focussed on her through the shadows. He shifted through the mists, the ripples in the air reaching her and spiking her senses. Lyanna opened her eyes, focussing on the dark figure that was hiding in the darkness. "Show yourself." She could see nothing but two yellow orbs, like the eyes of a predator, prowling through the mist. To say he frightened her would be an understatement. "The doctor." He chuckled, the mad sound echoing through the halls and sending chills up her spine. Her hand instinctively went out to her lightsaber, her thumb pressing against the button and her eyes trained on his figure. "I was hoping for Kenobi." His voice was low and threatening. Maul stepped out of the shadows, his eyes glaring at her from afar as he ignited his double-bladed lightsaber at his side. The red casted eery shadows on his dark face, his yellow orbs flaring with pure hatred as he snarled. "Why are you here?"

Since Qui-Gon's death, Anakin had become the anchor in Obi-Wan's life. It was Anakin who gave him purpose. There was no greater pride than seeing him surpass the other Padawans, watching him grow into the prodigy everyone had expected him to be. Obi-Wan had even allowed himself a rare indulgence-gloating about his apprentice's achievements, silently basking in the knowledge that he had helped shape the Jedi who would one day be the Order's greatest. But with that pride came an overwhelming guilt. Obi-Wan had never been able to reconcile it fully, but his attachment to Anakin-his love for him-was plain as day to anyone who knew them. The way he lit up when Anakin was in the room, the way he defended his Padawan even when the Council was less than forgiving. That connection had deepened over time, morphing from the playful, nurturing affection of a master for his apprentice into something more guarded. He had become stricter with Anakin as the years passed, holding back the casual warmth he once offered so easily, because he knew that his love for Anakin was becoming too personal, too dangerous. Attachments led to fear, and fear led... well, Obi-Wan knew where that path led. He couldn't afford to let his feelings slip into attachment, even though everyone in the Temple could see it. The truth was, Anakin was his favorite. He had always been. And that scared Obi-Wan more than any battle, more than any Sith Lord. But did Anakin know that? Did Anakin realize how much he meant to Obi-Wan? Or had he misinterpreted Obi-Wan's stricter behavior as a lack of affection? The thought gnawed at Obi-Wan. He remembered sitting by Anakin's bedside, wondering if he had ever told Anakin how proud he was, how much he truly cared for him. But when Anakin had finally woken from that coma, everything had changed.

Subakin & his Obi-Dom

10 parts Complete Mature

Anakin Skywalker, the Jedi Knight who was always in denial, could never bring himself to admit, or rather, would never accept that he was, in fact, a submissive. Oh no, never. He firmly believed that he was destined to be a dominant, and he was determined to make that a reality. But as fate would have it, later that very same day, he found himself in a rather compromising position. "Yes, Master," he obediently responded, his voice laced with a mixture of resignation and anticipation, "Thank you for allowing me to clean your boots, Master." Anakin Skywalker, the renowned and powerful Jedi, was woefully and fecklessly in denial. Little did he know that it would take a gentle and experienced super-dom to bring him to heel. And who better to undertake this heavy burden than Obi-Wan, the selfless and renowned Jedi? His mission was clear: to save not just Anakin, but the entire galaxy from a darker fate. So, dear reader, strap in for this enticing tale as we follow Anakin in his journey of blockhead denial...
