What if Darkstalker had a brother.
Novamaker, the brother of Darkstalker and Whiteout often felt out of place. His parents fights, his brothers behavior, his strangeness to the tribe that was supposed to call him a friend.
But he wasn't going to let that define him, let his brother try to get him to use his magic carelessly, or obsess over a certain Nightwing because she appears in his visions, as she does with Darkstalker.
He was Novamaker, a hybrid, and creator, of the most dangerous animus artifact in history.

She arrives at sundown with a seemingly fake reason for being late. It throws Sunny, her adopted aunt, into worry as it seems her niece has changed. But why? And why does she keep having visions of nothing but pitch blackness? Did something happen to her niece? And what will happen when a bully Skywing keeps making her doubt that being a hybrid is somehow wrong? Will Spirit be able to recover her regular self or will she give up and become a doormat? And how will a secret admirer come into play? Especially when Spirit begins to get more visions of strange giant creatures deep within the ocean. What if the dragonet inside it actually survived? What if the SkyWing was hidden in a deep pit with only a sick IceWing guardian to take care of? After ten years, when the war of the SandWing Succession has finally come to a glorious ending and the Eye of Onyx has crowned Thorn as their new SandWing queen, Soaren, the surviving SkyWing, has been having trouble living in the pit for ten years all his life. He wanted to see the world. He wanted the sun to finally touch his scales. He wanted to spread his wings freely. His very, very large wings. When his IceWing guardian was about to die of SandWing venom, Soaren was determined to save him by travelling to the Rainforest, where he heard he could retrieve the cure for the venom. It would have been easier than going to the Sand Kingdom. But as Soaren flies through his journey, he meets a peculiar dragon as he passes the Sea Kingdom and some interesting dragons while he stays in the Rainforest. However, a strange occurrence happened at Jade Mountain. He and a few friends try to solve the mystery, gathering up all the clues while the SkyWing wonders if he should go back to his guardian. Soaren had hid his true identity as the 'lost' SkyWing, but he needs to eventually open up. With the NightWings in the Rainforest, more mind readers will be born and they'll find out who he is. But worst of all, he'll have to face something far more terrible than anyone could have imagined...
