Though, she doesn't return the next day as Sonic would assume she usually would do after she's cooled down from an embarrassing situation. It turns out that Amy ran away since she didn't want to see Sonic anymore. It's been years and Sonic realizes that he misses the loving girl that she once was in his eyes. Being the adventurous blue hedgehog he is, Sonic sets out on an adventure to go find her, hoping he could bring her back home. However, if he finds her again, will she be the same blossoming-loving girl she always was known for? This is my story for the fanfiction contest - @ShadougeTeam (Shadouge Official). For those who have never read Sonic (Archie) comics I suggest reading issues 193-195, will help to understand some points of this story. Due to the deadline to submit the fanfic, I had to make changes to the original ideas I had for the story. Flashbacks were shortened and were counted by the characters themselves. "what makes you say that?" sonadow/ modern world au bored out of his mind, sonic the hedgehog and his brother manic venture out to the bar, but there's a catch: the azure of the two is in make-up and a dress! looking pretty feminine enough, they decide to mess with the werido drunkies of the establishment but upon meeting an ebony hedgehog named shadow, sonic starts to forget what made this joke funny in the first place. shadow the hedgehog is dragged to the bar by his brother mephiles and it's not like there's any way to escape. the striped hedgehog sits alone in a corner wishing to be no where but home but when a pretty girl in a pink dress approaches him he feels like a new man. what makes this all better: she has the same sense of humor as his! it's hard to believe she's a normal girl but nevertheless.. shadow is in love! if only he knew.. 'sonette' is actually a boy.. ... note this is an au, all ages and personalities are altered to fit the fic.
