Known as a frequent patron, Wood's altercation with security escalated into a fatal shooting that left security guard George Alejandro Castellanos dead. The incident shocked the community, prompting calls for enhanced security measures. Legal proceedings concluded with Wood being found guilty and sentenced to life imprisonment without parole.
