A vulnerable moment between two people trying to navigate a difficult relationship which is supposed to come down to one inevitable choice.
OR
Shubman is about to have a breakdown and Ishan's trying to help him with it by being an idiot (not so much) and having a breakdown of his own.

This is a one-shot.

Hi, this one's for all the people who are always in my one-shots comments saying "why can't they just communicate?". Here is the communication. I hope you enjoy!

This one has been in my drafts for too long now. I have thought about posting it a lot of times but eventually gave up. I don't know, I think I feel very insecure about it for some reason. I don't know if it makes sense. So, if you think it's too bad pls let me know (nicely), I'll delete it.

The title is from the song "Never Not" by Lauv. But I was listening to "moh moh ke dhaage" by Monali Thakur while writing this. so I would suggest you play it too, but you do you. Also, "dooriyan" from love aaj kal. The cover is an artwork called "chaos" by Holly Warburton that i edited.

Do let me know your views! Apologies for the mistakes and the writing in advance.
Always grateful for the likes and the comments!

Thank you!

"He was flirting with you and you are laughing." "So what, I liked it." Now he became dead serious and it did scare me. He came to me and whispered huskily in my ears, "You better not forget that you are mine." It really sent a shiver down my spine. ---------------------------------------------------- Xanir Resf, the captain of the Australian cricket team and the humblest athlete you will ever meet. But to Alveera Ehmaan, his childhood friend cum enemy, he is arrogant and an asshole. Having spent two years of childhood together they were like the same poles of two different magnets, just couldn't tolerate one another. What happens when they encounter each other after 16 years, will their hatred grow or destiny will unite them forever? (The starting chapters are not so good or interesting but believe me they get better later on, do give it a read.) Most impressive ranking: #2 in Cricket. #2 in Short Stories (In case you are wondering why the hell there's a hashtag next to the title, numbering it...go read my bio.)
