After being bitten by a genetically engineered spider, young Peter Parker finds that he now has incredibly enhanced strength, speed and agility. Along with the ability to adhere to any surface, a precognitive spider-sense that warns him of danger and a pair of mechanized web shooters, the idealistic teenager fights against evil as the costumed hero Spider-Man.
Set during the decade of the 1990's, this is a Generation X version of the Amazing Spider-Man story. This is a time when young people believed that they had the power to change the world for the better. In order to make a difference, Peter will need to rely on his friends for help and have the courage to believe in good.

LAST ISSUE:
For members of Midtown High School's Class of 1992, the journey is almost over. Soon they will graduate and go their separate ways and pursue their own dreams. But for now, they still have time to enjoy the journey. For Peter Parker and Mary Jane Watson, that means their storybook romance continues. The two teens are madly in love. Young love. A special time in their lives to savor the magic power of youth. They resolve to make the most of their time together.
Meanwhile, fears about the future continue to plague Spider-Man. The masked hero returns to the research facility where he learned that Zoltan Amadeus was responsible for kidnapping the missing Oscorp scientists leaves him baffled. The entire facility was cleared out. Completely empty. After deciding to confront both Harry Osborn and Zoltan Amadeus, the wall crawler is blind sided by a sneak attack from the Vulture. Now, the hero is vulnerable and seems to be moments away from certain doom!
