The tail-end of Hazel Anderson's holiday break from college classes seems to be taking as normal a route as possible. Freedom from mind-numbing busy work, late-night cram sessions, and her race to break one of her university's softball records have given her plenty of opportunities to spend time with her friends as they celebrate this period of relaxation. However, this blissful peace in Hazel's small college town is about to be shattered by the ramifications of obsession and malice, throwing her deep into solving the mystery of a dangerous assailant that has taken aim at her love life. Can Hazel and her circle of friends solve the crimes popping up around them? Or are they simply next in line to be offed by this villain in plain sight? Loosely based on The Warning's "Queen of the Murder Scene" concept album - Thank you Daniela, Paulina, and Alejandra for your music that has inspired this story!
