Sage Vineyard has a dream of going to Fandom Academy. Millions of people from all over the world do as well. When she gets in, she is thrilled. But to get her parents to let her go, she has to promise them she will not do theater(?) and will do some sports. Also she has to pass the homeschooling exams every quarter. 

Sage has to keep her role in The Lightning Thief play a secret from her parents and balance her fandom school work with studying for the homeschool tests.
