When Izuku Midoriya first met All Might in person he was star-struck. But while he was zooming through the air, desperately searching for answers from his favorite hero. All Might shook him off his leg without thinking. Sending poor young Izuku plummeting back down to earth.
Miraculously, Izuku landed relatively safely and suffered no lasting injuries, physically at least.

Simply out of the pure discontentment of not having a quirk before he thought he would die. Izuku's split personality, Yamikumo Midoriya, was created.

Izuku Midoriya formerly izuku yagi had a good life up until he was diagnosed quirkless. He was neglected and beaten by his own (all might and magnetic) family and (1A) friends. Over the years izuku learn how to defend himself in private, read comics from before quirks were around and learning about heroes quirks. One day, while izuku is running away from his tormentors, he runs into the forest to lose them. After he does he realizes he's lost and then he sees a meteor coming towards him. After it crashes izuku feels like it's calling to him, he goes near it and almost in an instant he feels a sudden surge of power and strength he never felt before. Now with these new abilities he will become the next number one hero and symbol of hope.

His father abused and abandoned him, his teachers hated him and set him up for failure, and the other kids in school bullied him for something he had no control over. What is that thing you might ask? What could possibly ruin someone's life so much? Well, Izuku Midorya, was quirkless. Yes in a world filled to the brim with heroes and quirks, he did not. Midoriya Izuku has been set back further than any other point in his life. If All-Might says he cant be a Hero, what chance does he have? He has to give up and move forward. No matter the pain... An extensive knowledge of Heroes and their world has its uses elsewhere. However, can he truly abandon that need to be a Hero? Can he deny himself that? Or will he give to his compulsion? Yes, I understand the Cover is a bit pretentious. It's almost midnight, give me a break.
