"So I mean nothing to you...you don't love me, is that what you're saying?" She screamed at him, hoping, praying that Eric was lying to her.

Not after he looked at her that way, kissed her and made her a promise to stand up for himself and take what he wants, including her.

"I know this goes beyond not going to prom with me. You're never coming back to me again, I know it" she sobbed. "Hell, I don't even care about prom but I just want you. I need you. With me. You're supposed to be mine, you know it"

He wrapped hia arms around her sniveling, shivering body. It was cold and she would fall sick, he worried. God he cared but she couldn't understand it.

"I thank you for bringing my sister home, Amanda. Thanks for even the academic help and shape up so my parents are less troublesome now . But face it, Tiffany is my duty. I have to love her and cherish her for my parents. I don't want you to get hurt because of me so you have to stay the fuck away from me. Stop trying to get me, stop trying so hard. There are dangerous people out there that takes Tiffany side and you know my dad is mayor... he'll make life hard for you." He said

"So you're not gonna fight back? You're not gonna be with me? Eric do you even like me?" She cried, struggling to get away from him

"For now, stay away. Just wait for me, Kay? Let me get my shit sorted out" he said "just wait for me"

She shook her head. She knew that there was never going to be with him. Even as he whispered to her to wait for him, she knew she never had a chance.
