Y/N needs a date to attend a work party she wants to go to, but living on Ryloth doesn't exactly grant the most eligible bachelors. Still, she'll take whoever, she isn't looking for anything permanent anyways. She just needs the courage to ask a twi'lek male, someone she won't dread having to converse with or look at on the way to the party. But wait, who's that?

Howzer is a clone trooper serving the Republic, stationed on Ryloth. Despite the war, Ryloth has remained relatively peaceful, save for a couple of incidents. Under General Cham Syndulla and his wife Eleni, Howzer is granted more freedom than he ever thought he would get as a clone trooper. Freedom that allows his mind to entertain other ideas, and with news that the war may soon be over, an unfairly short future to think about and look forward to. 

One chance encounter changes the course of Y/N's and Howzer's lives, their thoughts towards certain notions of life, and most importantly, what love is.
