BEFORE I MET YOU recounts the unmistakable love story of eighteen-year-old Ava-Anne Marie, a girl so in love with the man God has given her to marry, and nineteen-year-old Nathaniel Hayes, a security officer and Luke-warm Christian in training.
Plot twist: he doesn't know.
Ava-Anne has been praying for her future husband since she was six, and now he's finally here! A preacher's son and flourishing in security, Nathaniel Hayes seems to be everything that Ava has been asking for...until she meets him in person. Rugged by nature and distant with the Lord, he makes for a pretty low believer. Not only that, he has one thing in mind- to settle down with a pretty girl and raise a family of his own.
Luckily for them, God has orchestrated the perfect match and it seems that all that's left to do is fall in love and put a ring on it.
But how can she re-direct his desires back to the Lord?
