Seven times I found myself writing those letters. Seven times I closed my eyes to forget that I had done it.
When I close my eyes I don't feel sadness, anger, or pain. It's like a breather, a little pause before returning to reality.
How can a man's life be summed up in such a simple, everyday, even natural act?
When I close my eyes, no one is torturing me, I can't hear my mother crying, there are no incompetent children making my life impossible, I am not controlled like a puppet, I am not trapped between two sides, I have no debt to pay.
When I close my eyes I see Lily, I hear that story I loved as a child, I see a starry night in the forest, myself making potions, and lately, a beautiful young woman with brown curls.

Here I bring to you, native and non-native English speakers, the English transcription of Marauder!Crack by Irati, a fanfiction that revolutionized the fanfiction world of Harry Potter, more concretely the Marauder's Era in Hispanoamerica. I am not, in any possible way, saying this is from my authorship, because it is NOT, and it's my holiday proyect to spread this excellent fanfiction to you, so you can enjoy it as much as I and so many other people did. This is something like a myth: we do not have trazable records of who Irati actually is. She/He/It wrote this in a period of time between 2004-2008, in a LiveJournal that is no longer available for everyone. Eventhough, people since then have been spreading pdf's with transcriptions of the publications of the LiveJournal (extremely difficult to find if you ask me) with the mere intention to keep this story alive, because is extremely well written and with an astonishing profundity of the characters that you may not seen in many fanfictions. So I say that again, never seen any translations of it, and as I am a passionate of English Literature and Law, I bring this to you to expread the story for your enjoyment and help (and force) myself to practice my English. Not an English speaker as you presume, so squeeze me for any misconceptions, I do know many of you would do this job far better than me, as so anything that improves my narrative skills and knowledge will be highly accepted and very well received. Do I have anything more to say? Not at all, but to dive into this long enough story, full of exciting and joyfull moments that will make you a good laugh, and also sometimes a good cry, because you will get to know our Mssr Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot, and Prongs, and also pretty Lily in a way most emphatical, and deep, with their teenage issues and prides. This book is now available through Amazon and kindle! It was definitely a process getting it published, but my parents wanted me to accomplish this before they passed away, so no regrets. I wish I could work on it again, maybe add layers. It starts off a little heavy on the "romance", and then I think it finds its own groove, but overall I'm happy with the final product. I always appreciate it when people purchase it, but you are more than welcome to read it here. If you do buy one, please leave me a rating/comment. It's under my pen name Robin Ray on Amazon. I reposted it here for everyone to read, but I think it's also nice to read in paper book form. I buy one for myself every Christmas and end up gifting it:)I really felt inspired to write it, and as strange as it sounds, I felt that Alan Rickman helped guide me along the way. When I read it, it makes me feel less lonely, and the characters feel like real friends to me. I hope you also find something meaningful in my book. I've started on the sequel...Refuge, but it's been difficult to get back to it. He had lost Lily to their arrogant classmate, James Potter, which utterly devastated him, only to find what utter devastation really meant when he lost her again, and finally, to death. He put those memories aside for now...he had relived them a lifetime's worth in his mind over the years. He turned his thoughts back to the present, and the woman who was presently in the very next room. He relented slightly as he felt a familiarity pass over him, and he groaned lightly, feeling as if this wound had been touched at its deepest core, then had been set to healing, and he drifted off into an exhausted sleep before he could put a finger on the source of the warm familiarity he had felt, and the magic that would not show itself until the proper time.Zakończone
