It shouldn't be possible for a native-born Novan to possess Magic, but as Lydia enters the realm of Aeterna in order to learn how to control her Magic, she discovers that she is an exception in many ways. The problem is, no one knows why.
In Aeterna's desert a long-forgotten threat has been lurking for many years, locked behind a Magical Gate. Now it is free from its long confinement, and Aeterna is in need of an ancient hero to re-seal the gate and save the realm.
