This is book two of The Friendship as Strong as Steel.

Val and Lucy have just come back on a quest. However, the fates wouldn't be friendly to them. Hephaestus's hammer and Poseidon's Trident have been stolen. The two gods blame each other, and are about to go to war. Their first move, they kidnap Percy, Annabeth, Leo, and Calypso. Now, Val, the adopted daughter of Leo, and Lucy's friend Sam, the son of  Percy and Annabeth, have to go on a quest to find the magical items to save their parents, long with Lucy.

Now it was the next summer, and 15 year old Hali was living the dream in Southern California, occasionally going on different quests for her father. What happens when she meets her brother on one of these quests? I hope you like this!
